The Programme Management Board (PMB) is a University-level Board, which reports to its parent committee – the Learning, Teaching and Quality Committee (LTQC). The Board also conducts an initial scrutiny of new programme proposals, before submission to the Programme Approval Committee.
The purpose of the Board is to ensure the University effectively oversees and strategically directs the management, development and review of its programme portfolio at all levels (Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research). The Board is responsible for assessing the viability of new proposals and prioritising development to maximise success. Finally, it is within the remit of the Board to manage, review and approve tuition fees at all levels (Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research).
