Wendy joined the University at the beginning of 2014, initially working in the Undergraduate Taught Programmes Office supporting the Assessment and Award Boards and servicing the Academic and Executive Boards. Subsequently in Academic Quality Services Wendy has serviced multiple Committees as well as Quality Reviews and College Engagements. Since the beginning of 2018 she has been co-ordinating the Programme Approval Committee as Secretary, ensuring new programmes are reviewed and approved. She is also involved PGR Viva Boards.

James first joined the University as an Assessment and Awards Assistant within Student Academic Services in 2017. Having previously worked as an English Teacher, James joined Academic Quality Services in May 2018 in the role of Academic Quality Enhancement Assistant and now works primarily within the Programmes and Operations Teams, supporting both the Programme Approval Committee and Programme Management Board. James is also directly involved in the co-ordination of the Quality Review process and in maintaining up-to-date, centralised records of the University’s Professional Accreditations. James received both his MA (English Literary Studies) and PGCE from Durham University and his particular areas of pedagogical interest include: Learning, Teaching and Assessment, Student Self-Efficacy and Growth Mindset.
